Wildfire Community Preparedness Day 2025

Wildfire Community Preparedness Day is a campaign that encourages people and organizations everywhere to come together on a single day to take action to raise awareness and reduce wildfire risks. It is held annually in the United States and Canada on the first Saturday in May.
Build excitement for the day with resources such as a proclamation, announcement flyer, fact sheet, and a toolkit on how to plan for the day’s activities!

Join us for our monthly meeting where OFSC board members are in attendance along with invited guest who can include representatives from the City of Oakland EMSD, OFD, CAL Fire, et al. Community advocates discuss current issues and concerns with regards to wildfire safety. Open forum, time permitting.
