Join us for a midsummer workday focused on fire clearing and invasive plants. We supply gloves, tools, water, snacks. Wear long sleeves, long pants, and shoes or boots with good treads for slippery ground. Meet at 2639 Beaconsfield Place, just off Chelton Drive in Montclair. Walk in on the dirt road.

Join us for our monthly meeting. OFSC board members are in attendance along with invited guests which can include representatives from the City of Oakland EMSD, OFD, CAL Fire, et al.  Community advocates discuss current issues and concerns with regards to wildfire safety.  Open forum, time permitting.  We welcome everyone from all communities of Oakland and East Bay to observe, participate and/or get involved.
